Hey! I’m Meg. My hobbies include hugging rocks in high places and going on outdoor adventures across the globe. I also enjoy eating Sour Patch Kids while I hike, and sleeping out under the stars in the desert.
There’s nothing better than an epic story about pooping in the woods and I enjoy laughing by the campfire with my friends.
When I’m not in the outdoors, you can find me playing #bossbabe at my freelance writing biz, hanging with my 14-year-old adventure doggo Nina, and musing about growing more houseplants.
If you’re looking to make your adventure dreams a reality, then you’ve come to the right place.
How I Started
I know you want to get to the good stuff, so I’ll keep this quick. Back in the day, I ground it out in the 9 to 5 world.
Each weekend I’d run off to the mountains of Colorado and beyond to get some fresh air and reset.
The life of a weekend warrior is exhausting. So after saving and saving, I decided to quit my job as a commercial architect and go all in. I created a freelance writing business and now I make money with my Colorado blog too!
The journey has had it’s twists and turns, but one thing is for certain. After traveling and exploring Colorado for the past 12 years, I’m an expert in all things Colorado travel.
